Survey: GP Enhanced Access Feedback Survey Posted on 20 Jun 2022

An enhanced service is defined as a service provided by GP practices, that is on top of the core services they already provide to their patients.

NHS England have given your GP practices a new contract to offer an new enhanced service for patients to provide routine appointments Monday to Friday 6:30pm until 8pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm. Your GPs practices are not being asked to provide more appointments but to have routine appointments available at more convenient times, especially to those who cannot attend appointments during the normal core hours of 8am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

In order for the GP practices to deliver the right services to their patients, they would value your opinion from a patient's perspective, and have asked for Healthwatch Cumbria's help do this. The feedback that you give will help to develop a service that best meets the needs of our communities.

All responses will be anonymous. All information given will be held by Healthwatch Cumbria, which will only be shared with NHS England. All the information will remain secure and confidential, and will comply with the Data Protection Act 2018.
